About Us
Fright Nights was the world's first commercial ghost hunting company.
We pioneered overnight paranormal experiences for the public. Founded in 1999, it became the UK's largest and most recognised ghost hunt organisers. Discover a little about our incredible history.
- 1. Pioneering the IndustryBefore Fright Nights existed, there was no way for ordinary people to experience professional ghost hunting. We created an entirely new category of entertainment, opening up Britain's most haunted locations to the public and developing the methodologies that the entire paranormal events industry still uses today. Often imitated but never equalled, Fright Nights set the template others followed.
- 2. Unmatched ScaleAt its peak, Fright Nights operated at over 150 of the UK's most haunted and exclusive venues, taking more than 3,000 ghost hunters monthly. Over 26 years, we introduced over 650,000 people to paranormal investigation, that’s approximately 6 million hours of ghost hunting.
- 3. Media RecognitionThe Guardian called us ``the undisputed number one ghost hunting company in the UK.`` We appeared on Most Haunted, Ghost Adventures, Ghost Hunters International, and numerous other programmes. The Sun said the Fright Nights was “the Original Ghost Hunting Company”.
- 4. Charitable ImpactBeyond entertainment, Fright Nights events have raised over £1.5 million for charities, proving that ghost hunting could deliver genuine social good alongside thrills.

Ghost Hunts
We didn't just run ghost hunts. We built the industry.
In 1999, we created the world's first commercial ghost hunting company. Over 18 years, we took more than 400,000 guests through the doors of over 300 of Britain's most haunted buildings. Abandoned asylums. Medieval castles. Victorian prisons. Plague hospitals. Underground tunnels that hadn't seen light in centuries.

A 15th-century hall of royal pageantry and wartime devastation, where shadowy figures, phantom footsteps, and black-robed monks linger after dark.
